A who is where/what game database | Yurup | Saturday, May 13, 2000 |
Hi SubSpace. I'm trying to create a bot that can show people what games are being played. Something like giving the command "/games" and it will return a list of games players with a particulair tag(like "~(M)" ) are in, some thing like this: Games that are being played: Yurup~(M):Yur; Test~(M):Test; Tubbie~Toad~(M):Toady; And another thing I have seen before, a bot sayed I could look who is in a game by typing "/game Yur" and it would show who is in that game(Yur), do you know how to do this because these features would be very nice to add to your bot. Thanks for your time, Yurup "Knowledge is Power" |

It's doable, tho it would require a lot of work on the bot's behalf and wouldn't be totally reliable. I'm working on something similar right now tho, so I might give it a shot to see how it works. > And another thing I have seen before, a bot sayed I could look who is in a
Could be done once the above was implemented, but it would'n't show any people that joined the game from anywhere else as the bot's channel. Part of this functionality was planned for version 1.0 final, which is also why I have so many 1.0 betas 8) Can't promise anything I'm afraid. SubSpace |
