Suggestions... | Adun | Monday, May 8, 2000 |
I'll just make a list. 1.) Have an account database, to where, if I /whois-ed you, it would come up with all the account names that my bot has seen, that are associated with the /whois-ed person. 2.) Have a feature in the main configuration, to enable a /whois-ing whenever any user joins the channel. Grah. I had a lot more on my mind, but... I lost my track of thought. Oh, well. -Adun "There comes that mysterious meeting in life when someone acknowledges who we are and what we can be, igniting our highest potential." |

Hmm, I might do that, although people are not supposed to change account numbers all the time :) > 2.) Have a feature in the main configuration, to enable a /whois-ing
What good would that do? /whois?ng bots doesn't do any good. If you mean you want it to /whois anybody no matter what channel you're in, I'll be adding that particular feature. SubSpace |

You also have to take in mind that a nbbot or ascii bot will change its accoutn number every time, and make sure you do not show names on userjoin... also, when two users with the same name online @ same time (eg: two diablo shareware ascii bots) the bot crashes... Next, i would like if possible, to disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL when the bot is active, as my little brother still finds a way to close my bot, also, add the choice to start minimized, and in password protection.... thank you for your time... Hi, > You also have to take in mind that a nbbot or ascii bot will change its
Not sure what you mean here... > also, when two users with the same name online @ same time
Never noticed it doing that, but I'll check it out anyway. I've seen plenty of double names in the same channel before when servers were odd, and it handled it as was expected. > Next, i would like if possible, to disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL when the bot
Well, the sh*t out of him to make him stop doing that then 8) He could always turn your computer off to close your bot, I can't prevent him from doing so... > add the choice to start minimized, and in password protection.... thank
Will do.. SubSpace |
