Is there a script that will.... Nezrik Thursday, February 24, 2000

Does anyone know of a script that will work like Bnets /whereis command. I would like to use the bot to find out if someone is logged on to bnet and where they are using the bots userbase of account #'s. something like !whereis Whoever and it will search bnet to see if that persons account # is logged on regardless of the alias they are logged on as..

Thanx alot..

BNet's

/whois #account

works fine to do that, unless people are logged in with a bot.

Yes, i know how do use that, but it is a pain in the but to have to keep track of a million account #'s. Isnt there a way to use the Bot's userbase, since it logs everyones account #. That way you could come into the room and type !whereis bill, (bill being the user's primary name) and it tells you bill is logged on from acct # whatever and is in USA Diablo Retail #1, or says bill is not online. And another would be to type !whoisonline and it will scan everyone in the user base and tell you everyone that is logged on.

Is there a way to do this?

Also another question. I can't seem to log onto bnet with more than one bot, or a bot and Bnet buddy. Does bnet restrict this?

Thanx, Nezrik

Theoretically you can, but all those queries would slow down the bot and you'd have to wait until the bot is done looking for that person. You can't make a script for it right now..

That would take ages...

Yes, only one bot connection is allowed at a time I'm afraid..
